Residents of Anthem Golf & Country Club enjoy not one but two championship 18-hole, par-72 private courses designed by Greg Nash: The Persimmon and The Ironwood. The dedicated, hands-on designer carefully crafted and oversaw the interweaving of these multi-tiered courses with the stunning, pristine Sonoran desert. The Persimmon debuted in 1999; among its many accolades it was rated by Golf Digest as the 14th best course in Arizona, and by Desert Golf as the 10th best private course in the Valley (Phoenix area).
