The Apache Wells Country Club’s semi-private flat course was built to be highly accessible for seniors. There are three tee boxes per hole, and water comes into play on six holes. With 18 holes, the par-71 course is 6,038 yards. Designer Jack Snyder’s philosophy over more than forty years of creating golf courses in Arizona and on Maui, Hawaii, has centered on enjoyable play, affordability, and water conservation. Golfers enjoy this course with its backdrop of clear blue Phoenix skies, tall palms, and sweeping mountain ranges.

Membership in the Country Club is limited to homeowners in the designated Apache Wells community, with a cap at 485. Homes include condominiums, block homes, and doublewide trailers ranging from $150,000 to over $500,000. Membership provides unlimited access to the golf course and driving range. Special days include “Couples Day” on Mondays, “Men’s Day” on Tuesdays, “Nine-Holers” Day on Wednesdays, and Apache Wells Women’s Association Day on Thursdays. On Sundays, the course is open to the public. The Pro Shop is ably headed up by golf professionals Bruce Taubert and Steve Stroud for all your equipment, attire, and instructional needs.

Taylor Ray’s Restaurant at Apache Wells offers American favorites such as baby back ribs, “down-home” pot roast and meatloaf, weekly and daily specials, a fish fry on Wednesday and Friday nights, and children’s menu at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The non-smoking lounge offers live music and dancing and daily happy hour, and can be booked for meetings, receptions, and other gatherings of up to 300 people.
