Avalon is a semi-private Golf Course and Community in Lenoir City, Tennessee. The course was opened in 1999 and is situated on 430 acres of hardwood trees in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
Avalon Golf Course was designed by Joseph Lee and includes 18 holes of championship golf. Rates for golfing year-round are between $25 and $55, depending on the time of day and year. Special rates are given for seasonal conditions and seniors.
The Clubhouse has a Pro Shop well equipped for any golfing need. Two Golf Pros are available for lessons and consultation by appointment. A swimming pool is also open for members to use. Special interest clubs and social events are scheduled for adult members both on and off site.
Condos and Villas are being built on the property at Avalon. They offer maintenance free living which is ideal for retired singles or couples. Prices begin at $349,000 and go up, depending on the model. Deluxe features are available with ample floor space.
Lenoir City is near Knoxville, Tennessee. The University of Tennessee Volunteers call it home, as well as the Smoky Mountain National Park. Nearby Dollywood offers recreation and entertainment for the whole family.
