Legend Trail
Legend Trail’s 640 North Scottsdale acres are home to five communities with homes from 1,500 to 5,500+ square feet, beginning at about $220,000 and reaching $2,500,000. Custom homes, semi-custom family homes, and home sites are available, and there is a planned 36-unit condominium complex. About half of the land will remain untouched, and is surrounded by more natural beauty in the form of state-owned preserve land.
The Legend Trail par-72, 6,700- yard championship golf course, at 3,000 feet elevation, is usually seven to ten degrees cooler than valley temperatures for a refreshing, enjoyable golf escape. Legend Trail is proud of its bentgrass greens, which create a healthier green for an even, predictable roll, and eliminates the need for downtime due to reseeding. The semi-private course was designed by architect Rees Jones of the Palmer Course Design Co. The “Long Trail plays at 6,845 yards, while the “Short Trail, a favorite of women, is 5,000 yards. In fact, the course was honored as a “Top 100 Women-Friendly Course by Golf for Women magazine. Either way, the beautiful Sonoran Desert landscape with views of Pinnacle Peak and the sprawling Valley of the Sun make golf at Legend Trail a memorable experience for everyone.
The 10,000-square-foot clubhouse facility offers a fitness center with exercise rooms, free weights and weight machines, shower/locker rooms, lighted tennis courts, two pools, and a Jacuzzi. Meeting rooms and banquet rooms accommodate your business functions or large social gatherings. Golf Digest Schools instructors are available to help golfers of any skill level improve their game, and the golf shop offers an extensive selection of equipment and apparel. Dine inside or out at the Trail’s End Grille, specializing in a variety of Southwestern fare.
