Penn National Golf Course Community, Fayetteville, Pennsylvania
Penn National is a semi-private golf course and golf community in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. It was opened in 1968 and is located southwest of Harrisburg on 1400 acres. Golfing is offered in the spring, the summer and the fall, as long as weather permits.
Penn National offers two 18 hole courses, both of championship golf. The Founders Course was designed by Edmund Ault and Bill Love was behind Iron Forge. Different tees are set up for every level of golf enthusiast.
The Clubhouse offers swimming, tennis, a Pro Shop and a grill. Hiking trails and fishing are on-site, whether you choose to go alone or with a guide. There are many clubs to join and events for adults are regularly organized. An Inn for guests is also available on the property, with spectacular views of the golf course and surrounding nature.
The housing development is growing rapidly. Housing is available for single families in the range of $150,000 to $500,000. Houses in the community include condos, two story, traditional and ranch style layouts.
