Golf Course Paradise

Marketed as the number one selling community in the coastal region, this North Carolina golf retirement community is located just outside of historic Southport. An old fishing village, the town is quaint and the air is full of tradition, as is the community.  Its newest addition, the Reserve offers the ultimate in luxury and living, as it was designed from input from the 10 years of residents in the community.

This active adult, planned community offers 3 courses, walking and biking trails, year round swimming, weight lifting, as well as a community rich in gatherings. In town, residents can expect to find abundant philanthropic work as this is a major characteristic of Southport’s villagers.

With in the community, there is a beach club at the St. James by the Sea. The private beach is complete with gazebo, old-fashioned board walk, pool, showers and changing rooms. The signature golf courses are Audubon Certified Cooperative Sanctuaries meaning that they are maintained to the high standards of Audubon International.  There are a total of three with a four slated to open in 2006.
