If you are looking for more physical activities there is an indoor and outdoor swimming area, tennis courts, horse shoe area, Bocce games, Badminton, walking trails, gardens, and a putting green. The River Plantation is nearby in the community and all residents of Symphony Village receive a membership there. You will have the option of yachting, clay shooting; fly fishing, and other activities. Of course, there is a wonderful golf course in the Symphony Village community as well.

The Hunters Oak is a par 72, British style, championship golf course. There is 7,072 yards in this beautiful course currently where you will play 18 holes of golf. The goal of this course was to mimic the beauty and charm of the Old Britain style of golf courses. This design is cherished for that very reason. Hunters Oak goes a bit further by offering the holes names such as “Wee Boggle” and “Big Ben” to give it that extra British feel. If you are looking for a challenge you will find one here. Some things awaiting you will include pot bunkers, rolling greens, and a chance to stretch your game to its limits. It has been said that some of the most challenging holes of golf in the Mid-Atlantic area are on the Hunters Oak course.

If you need help with your game you will be able to find it here. Hunters Oak offers PGA Professionals to help with golf lessons. There is a practice area where you can go through lessons, warm-up, and practice using the putting greens and driving ranges. Currently there is also a second 18-hole championship course under way.

The homes in Symphony Village are based on Composers. Each model offers something distinct and lovely whether it be more space or a specific view of the community or the golf course. There are seven home models to choose from currently. You can choose the Bach, Strauss, Schubert, Gershwin, Vivaldi, Mozart, or the Beethoven.
