The Founders Club in Sarasota, Florida is a truly pure golf living experience. It is designed to blend golf with the area’s natural charm. Set inside the gates of this private golf community is the country club course that will offer only 275 equity memberships.
Limited membership does have its benefits. There are no tee times and members have freedom to walk and ride the course whenever they wish. The accompanying 18-hole championship course is cradled by awe inspiring landscapes on the 700 plus acres. The club includes a traditional caddie program as well as a full practice facility. In addition to the course, you will find 90 acres of lakes, palms, stands of pines, and oak hammocks that will shade the community’s streets.
262 homes are to be offered with the Founders Club, 200 of which will enjoy direct golf course vistas. The views will include the perfectly manicured fairways, wetlands, and natural preserves. The estate lots in the community will feature custom homes that will start in the $1 million range with 4,000 square feet and which can be purchased straight from the club. There are also 13 cottages available on the golf-front. These cottages and the golf vistas are directly along the 10th fairway and are adjacent to the Clubhouse.
The course itself is a 7,094 yard par 72 championship golf experience. It is a core layout so that golfers are undisturbed by streets, interior homes, or long walks between the greens and tees once they are on the course.
