The Wilds, Prior Lake, Minnesota
The Wilds is a public golf course and golf community in Prior Lake, Minnesota. It was opened in 1995 and is located south of the Twin Cities on 700 acres. Golfing is offered in the spring, summer and fall until weather allows. Golf packages are offered for members and non-members to get the best value.
The Wilds offers 18 holes of championship golf, beautifully designed by Morrish and Weiskopf. Golf prices begin at $30 and go to $99, with special rates given for seniors and after twilight hours. The course runs between tall pines and wetlands, making for an enjoyable experience. A practice facility is also onsite.
A pub and restaurant offer food and drink for casual and formal affairs. The Clubhouse offers an indoor pool, an indoor miniature golf course and a waterslide. They offer organized social activities for both adults and children.
The housing community is spectacular. Housing is available for in the range of $400,000 to $2,500,000. Houses in the community include condos, two story, traditional and modern layouts.
Prior Lake, Minnesota offers a variety of shopping, dining and entertainment for every lifestyle. Its proximity to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area is convenient for commuters, but far enough for quiet country living.
