The new Waterview Tower, Chicago, occupies one of the best locations in the city for both business and pleasure. Located at 111 W. Wacker Drive, the 82-story skyscraper soars above the Chicago River near the site of the original Fort Dearborn, close enough to the lakefront to offer magnificent views in all directions. At the same time, Waterview borders the Chicago Loop’s business and financial districts, as well as the world-class shopping and cultural facilities of North Michigan Avenue. As a mixed-used building, Waterview combines offices to the 12th floor, hotel rooms to the 27th floor, and above that, 236 luxury condo residences.

Residents can choose from a half-dozen floor plans ranging from spacious 1,087-square-foot one bedroom/two bath units to three bedrooms/4.5 baths covering 4,339 square feet. All the residences feature radiant-heated floors clad in 3″ oak hardwood, 9-foot to 11-foot high ceilings, recessed terraces with glass railings, kitchens with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, and bathrooms finished in marble. Taking advantage of modern electronics, each unit is pre-wired for telecommunications, high-speed and wireless Internet, and offers a central panel for controlling heating and cooling, window treatments, and appliances. Residents have a private lobby entrance, round-the-clock doorman and concierge services, on-premises dry cleaning and a travel agency. Parking slots or two-car garage spaces are optional

The 25th floor, known as the Amenity Level, provides a 60-foot lap pool, fully equipped exercise room, private men’s and women’s locker rooms with saunas and steam. An 8,000-square-foot terrace features landscaped gardens and a pet exercise area. Residents also have access to a hospitality room with a full kitchen.

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has announced that it will manage the 15-story condo hotel incorporated into the building. Hotel rooms can be purchased by individuals or corporations, with the option of renting them to others when not in use. All hotel amenities, including maid and room service, are also available to Waterview residents, providing exceptional convenience and service for today’s busy executives.

The developer is Teng Inc. Units have been selling for $617,000 to $6.3 million.
