Golf Coach, Assistant Named As Whall

Matt Whall was declared as assistant coach for Florida State men’s and women’s golf teams as he helped Women’s golf team for appearance in the NCAA Championships from the last three seasons. NCAA regional championships are advanced by Texas Tech in the last three seasons, which includes two trips of national championships in 2015 and 2017, in Lubbock top 10 teams, finishes his 10 years.

For best fifth place in 2015 NCAA Championships Texas Tech was helped by Whall. Lady Raider who was making her second appearance in NCAA Championships played a strong final round and overcome a five-shot deficit.
In Duke Texas Tech played a quarterfinal round and end with historic season and Lady Raiders begin the spring season and ranked 68th nationally.

Amy Bond said “He is happy that Whall joined our team as a coaching staff and he added that he had lots of knowledge and experience in this program and he had a great impact that we are looking forward to work with him”.
Whall helped Lady Raiders in NCAA Regional appearance and also helped Gabby Barker to earn single-season school record with 72.3 stroked averages. Because of Whall Tech claimed two team titles as the Red Raiders won the Henssler Financial Intercollegiate and the Red Raider Invitational crown in 2017.
Red Raider will work with Coach Whall, as she stands out to be the best freshman in Texas Tech history and closed her collegiate season with a 73.6 scoring average.
Whall said “He is excited to join the Florida State University as a coaching staff as both men’s and women’s have high expectations and looking forward to help them both potentially and athletically and would like to thank Coach Bond and Coach (Trey) Jones for joining Florida and making a great future of the program.
