Originally a ranch, the Roaring Fork Club community was landscaped after 100 years of inactivity in order to create a 300 acre community and golf course. The results are phenomenal from every aspect. The Roaring Fork golf course was named one of the best courses in Colorado today by Golf Digest. This is no surprise thanks to the beautiful course which was the mastermind of Jack Nicklaus. Creating a course of beautiful landscaping and ultimate challenge has made this course what it is today. You will find rolling hills, elevation changes, and doglegs on the occasional hole to keep you on your toes.
If you are interested in other areas beyond golfing you will find many other things to do. The club offers classes and instruction through the pro-shop. There are many areas for socialization including a dining area. There are tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a state of the art fitness center as well. Another big activity in the area is fly fishing. There is private access to a number of special ponds that are excellent for this wonderful sport.
